Businessperson of the Year Nominations Are Now Being Accepted

1. Recipients must be nominated for the award by anyone from the greater Eureka area, but the businessperson nominated must be a member, in good standing, of the Eureka Chamber of Commerce.
2. Nominations must include a brief summary of the nominee’s efforts or involvement in the betterment of the business community as well as contact information for nominee (address and telephone number).
3. The Eureka Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will review all nominations and then select the recipient of the award.
4. The person selected as Businessperson of the Year will be notified prior to the event and be invited to participate in the Eureka Days parade on Saturday, September 11, 2010.
5. Eureka Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors members will not be eligible for the award.

Nominations are due by July 31, 2010.
